This week's been quite great. Take out the Econs, put in the enjoyment. Chinese New Year's a day or two away, and the best thing about festivals is preparation. Amidst all the rushing and panicking, it actually makes up for the atmosphere for the biggest occasion in town. I'm happy and I know you'll be too, just try not to think of school after that, or countdown to the next holiday.
I thought he always behaved in this way because he hated his dad and was far far away from his family. He's always so cheerful because nothing holds him back, and he only wants a very simple life. And for the same reason, he is unperturbed by his own behaviour most of the time. Just as we wanted to tell him about how we felt, he finally told us, how his mother died. She was murdered for all the wrong reasons in her homeland, he never got to see her until he stumbled upon her slaughtered body at his doorstep. It hurt him through and through until today, and I can finally understand why he hates his dad so much. Life was indeed miserable. And in that instant, I felt really tongue-tied for the first time. :'(

World Tour coming soon! and 2009 is going to be another big wave of American Idiot follow-up for GD. I've waited not 8 long months, but 5 longggg years for this album to finally come out. I hope it'll pay off. Afterall, this legendary band has never made crappy music, for their best of all, Dookie makes me want to murder a kid. I'm kidding. If Green Day ever pulls a stop in Singapore, it's gonna blow the whole nation off their feet. :) perfect!
