carry your name, i don't know how

And that was the first inviting sight of 2009. What a way to celebrate it.

With the gigantic ship sailing right before your very eyes,

and people waving and shouting to you on board "HAPPY NEW YEAR!", that certainly brought a big smile to everyone on the other side. It was like titanic sailing 7M away from you, incredible!

And then, on the excursion to "Jurassic Park 4". The big tall concrete walls that could hold a 12M high tsunami. We discovered the earth's top 100 safest places when a disaster strikes. Ironically, when it's own water pumps burst, you'll be the first to ___.

Everyone say hi to WELLY, our local water icon, whose face looks like it's been used and recycled for Blood Donation Drive, Road Safety, PUB, NEWater purposes.

Water in 15 different languages in case people were wondering what sort of place it was and what was flowing beneath. -_-

Danger on this side or that side, no one knows.

HEY KID, what are you staring at? On a scale of 1-10, you're 7 cute, but that doesn't mean I'd hesitate to lift you by the neck and throw you into the reservoir. =X ohno, what a monster i am inside.

The sail
versus the speed-container on water with its two-player standing on it. At the end of 40mins, Speed-Container wins the race.

Then, nothing could be greener than the green roof, for it is a solar-powered building. That beautiful breeze at 1400KmpH, we can sit there all day long, just admiring the view and doing nothing.

Chinatown is Chinatown. Never loses its appeal to old people, my parents, and foreigners. Yesterday when we were there for the light up, that place was 10 times the population of Ladies Market. The noise level was 20 times the decibal of Temple Street. Then came the firecrackers which I haven't heard and seen in about 7 years, I swear they were so loud it was like surround sound system. Followed by the amazing fireworks, even much prettier than those at the countdown, right above your heads. Chinatown, though unappealing, gave me another better look of it yesterday. That reminds all of us, that CNY is just weeks away.

I just had my hair freshly dyed intense flame red. Might not have turned out the way I wanted because my hair was 50-50 colors to begin with. For many times personally, hair dye is one of the more painful processes, where you get your hair ripped out mercilessly when evening out the color, and thereafter, the horrific scrub-thru. Especially if you have shoulder length hair or longer and you need to achieve the color inside-out. It's not so bad for the previous 5 diff shades of brown I ever had, but this time, when I washed off the dye, and I opened my eyes, I thought I had murdered someone. I totally freaked out. My hands were covered in thick dripping rusty red gluey substance, the whole floor was stained with "blood" and the sink as well, it looked like I got slashed 103841 times on my body! So that's how it's like when you kill someone and try to dispose off the evidence.

With regards to it being the worse hair dye process, my head, skin and scalp is stained with the red dye I look like my skull is bleeding. I can't get it off for now, so I'd better stay home till it runs off. Other than that, expect me to look different, otherwise, if you think I look like a vampire to you, waving across the road amongst the traffic, you'd better run for your life.
