Bleed, America, Bleed (just don't bleed love)

Even if there's no football to cheer you up at 2am, there's the best piece of news from the GrandFathers of Rock. After 4.5 long years, GD is finally coming up with their new album! :D how freaking excited am i on a scale of 1-10, it'll be 13. Well, its some sort of American Idiot II, a never-ending to the first. Now, America and the world has something new to look forward to and this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne!

I wonder every minute how the world would be without music (and I'm not even talking about post-metal hardcore here) Be it Oasis or The Killers, these people are good enough to bring life into life. Although I'm very particular about the genre of sounds that goes into my ear, and I sieve out what I call "awful music" or "this is a song for the sake of singing it", I'd give a 2nd chance to them. My first impression of Tokio was vomit-inducing, but it turned out to be knee-strength-reducing. You get what I mean. But, music coming from Secondhand Serenade and stuff, 2nd chances prove pathetic.

Good music could be largely contributed by intelligent lyrics, the artiste conveying their emotions profoundly behind, simple yet memorable tunes, clever use of instruments, a good combination of genres, something the listener can relate to, and 1001 unique reasons! But what's yours?

Sometimes, we choose people from the kind of music they listen to. Sounds superficial and strange as it may be, but you'd be amazed at how it works out so well! You can spend an entire decade talking about it, and it never goes downhill. I can't explicitly describe this nature of mankind, but Music brings people together (and so does football). We'd hang out or make friends instantly with fellow-rock&metal-fans, and throw our souls at gigs just to get alittle bit of them (the bands), all these things are such a huge part of life, I would think. In short, MUSIC IS AWESOME, AND ROCK/METAL ARE BULLETS IN YOUR HEAD! :D

Here are some memorable first impressions:

  • Panic at the Disco -> ?!?
  • The Killers -> 'I just can't look, it's killing me'
  • Backstreet Boys -> PLEASE STOP IT!
  • N'sync -> this could just be my first favourite band
  • LinkinPark -> THIS IS BIGGER THAN THE WORLD
  • Avril Lavigne -> Man, this is my real first ever idol!
  • Paramore -> You call this music??
  • Eminem -> This dude is amazing, one and only, teaches me vulgarities!
  • Tokio Hotel -> WHAT CRAP!! It's disgusting!
  • Justin Timberlake -> makes me wanna cry (in a bad way)
  • My Chemical Romance -> This must have been the disaster of the century. TERRIBLYAWFUL!
  • Coldplay -> Now, this is profound
  • Avenged 7x-> just another another another band
  • One Republic ->DAMN! wherever and how did melancholy come back?
  • Snow Patrol -> i bet every track on this album is a one-liner repetition (i'm halfright)
  • The All American Rejects - WOW!!:D
  • Good Charlotte -> Finally, something&someone new
  • Yellowcard -> I honestly thought "Only One" would be enough to last them for life
  • F4 -> *speechless*
  • Jason Mraz -> you won't find another in this lifetime, and when I say 1 and only, I mean it
More than half of it turns out to be wrong, some are indeed revolting, some are magnificent and big beyond borders. One thing for sure, I have low tolerance for boybands, literally.
