In Response
In response to someone who wrote in to TST, commenting on how Earth Hour was such an insignificant attempt, because switching things off like the aircon would be far better than the lights, I beg to differ. You see, the thing is, you don't understand. It's true that switching off the aircon could be far more energy saving than the lights, but you have to realise how important light source is to us, we depend on it so much more than anything else when natural light goes out. We can function without the aircon, the internet, television, fan, but not lights. Therefore, switching off the lights during Earth Hour is indeed one of the best action taken to show our significant contribution. Get this right.
