I don't understand why must the Gymnasium and Swimming Pool facilities do the price discrimination thing. Being an Economist in mind, I'm all not for it. Think about it, it's quite stupid. The elderly pay $0.50 to hog the pool, swimming breadth and waddling in water, doing weird stuff you can never comprehend but look on in disgust like "GEDDOUTOFTHEERE!". Adults pay double the price, and swim faithfully, being very careful about not getting in people's way. Children pay the same $0.50 and jump around splashing water, screaming, running, annoying. Same thing happens at the gym.
Point being made is: I don't think the elderly or children should pay less because you assume they'll be exercising and using the facilities lesser than us. In fact, most people riding on those transformers in the gym are old people. Children come in and play for 15mins and they're done. But really, what the hell, I don't see why there should be different categories for entry fees. Plus the cranky fee-collectors make a big fuss about you tipping over the age and falling under which category. Honestly, they're really bored. Economics applied irrationally. So really, somebody, tell me.
because the elderly and children are poor!!!! hahaha no lah. cause elderly = poor thing so charge cheaper.
ReplyDeletechildren = cute and no money so pay lesser.
adults in general are just very very kiampa. HAHAHAHA omg i win.
