simply a look can break your heart

  1. A writer on TNP last week, compared a picture of Torres and Bruno, associating their looks and affirming that they looked highly similar. Someone, give him a gun to put that bullet in his head.
  2. A friend has been rattling on about attending MTV World Stage 09 over and over again and says things like "BOYS LIKE GIRLS ROCK!!". And she labels herself a hard-rocker, with Underoath lyrics tattooed on her arms. If they are hard-rock, then maybe Avenged Sevenfold is Jazz. All I have to say is, BOYS LIKE GIRLS LIKE SERIOUSLY???
  3. What do you expect from the reactions of panicky Singaporeans when you pull the train to a stop 500M from the station, in the middle of nowhere, and turn off all the cabin lights and air-conditioning? Don't Panic, says the train master, but the public did the exact opposite.
  4. The worse thing that could happen to you when you're running late and trying to catch a train and rushing to top up your ez-link card, is queueing up behind those amateur foreigners who wreck their brains to figure out how to operate the machine. Doing the refund alone can take them 10 minutes.
  5. Have you ever witnessed an old man trying to haolian at the lap pool, switching from breast-stroke to freestyle (which at one look you know could drain his life away) and ends up struggling in the water, gasping for air and asking for help? That was quite a show! and a joke of course.
  6. What do you do when you're focused on completing your 26th lap and over 50 secondary school kids come terrorising the pool? 1. Swim on  2. Get Out  3. Throw disgusted looks  4. Terrorize them back and show them who da man.
  7. I don't know how Taylor Swift got famous but from Day 1, I honestly thought she was one of the lamest artistes around.

Attending Theatre from back to basics late last week set me thinking and looking back on how much I do actually miss acting. The whole process from reading up the scripts, exploring the sets, memorising lines after lines, modifying and perfecting the role, interacting with the audience, actors and surroundings, down to the very day of performing infront of a crowd of hundreds, suddenly flooded back into my head, so vividly. And ofcourse, working with the best director and stage crews plays a major role! Theatre is universal, and needs to speak only one common language. Theatre is art, an appreciation, a huge passion, a communication, and imagination! I love watching plays that sets you thinking. And when I say theatre, I don't even mean things that have been tried and tested like Shakespeare plays, Broadway Musical, Your-Overly-Colorful-Costumed-Actors-with-WOW-stage-settings-and-venue, or Literature stuff. I'm talking about theatre- that is being daring, bold, metaphoric, simple, raw, intriguing and most of the time, leaves you wondering why you didn't understand. Once in a while, when things like this sets into your life, you feel great being one who can love it for what it is. (ps: Panic! At The Disco ain't threatre.)

And the irritating guy who DARED TO COMPARE Torres to the utterly worst guy on earth must have myopia at 1000000000+++ & astig at 9999999999+++! Like COME ON!!!
