It's digging my guts inside out to watch how Brown outwits, outplay and outlast (not yet?) Cameron in the parliament house. It's almost entertaining and sensational! At least much to my knowledge of the economics involved in the current UK Deficit situation. Those two bring elections to a whole new level! It's pretty insane how these politicians behave in the house, it's no better than what we used to do in "high" school. Political process ain't so bad all the time, I reckon.
Gordon : "They want 10 billion of tax cuts, they want borrowing to fall. That was the same recipe they followed in the 1992 and it led to the worst recession since the war. And who was the economic advisor to the treasury at that time? It's none other than the leader of the opposition".
Cameron: "Every other government has put aside money in the good years to build up their services, and instead this government at the end of world wide economic growth has achieved a unique double, the highest tax burden in our history and the biggest budget deficit in Western Europe. Does he feel any responsbility for this or is he totally incapable of admitting his mistakes?"
Gordon: "I just wished he knew something about economics before he came into this house and started to tell us what to do. All he can give us is slogans and not substance and have learnt nothing from his experience in the 1990s "
Cameron: "You want simple arithmetic? Here it is, 1 Prime Minister + 1 Chancellor= Economic Incompetence"
hahaha, it's driving me insane laughing hard enough this entire night. New entertainment kicks ass, as the exams come to an end and it's time for .....anything else and everything else I've been putting off for the longest time ever. Welcome to the end of Semester II Year II.
